Ulster Chess Competition Records

This trophy was presented by Ron Henderson, a former President of the Ulster Chess Union, to be awarded to the winner of the Intermediate section of the City of Belfast Championships. It was not competed for when the City of Belfast Championships were not held in the period 1997-1999. In seasons 2000-2001 and 2001-2002 it was awarded to the winner of the supporting event to the Williamson Shield, but with the revival of the City of Belfast Championships in 2003, it returned to its original home.
