Ulster Chess Competition Records

This event was played in August and organised principally by Martin Stone of the Downpatrick Chess Club. When he moved to England after the 1987 competition, the event did not continue. Many years later the trophy turned up "out of the blue" and the Ulster Chess Union intends to use it as a prize in one of its competitions.
