Ulster Chess Competition Records

This competition was held in May/June of each year. The usual format was to divide the competitors into four all-play-all preliminary sections. The four section winners would then go forward to knockout semi-finals and final. There was also a Minor section for non-league players. The most illustrious winner of the Minor was Paul Henry in 1964.
